![]() | Dave Hapka Dave Hapka joined the Compass Board in spring of 2025. Dave is a Registered Nurse and a Clinical Nurse Educator at Sheridan Memorial Hospital. Dave is passionate about patient care and serving his community and has a long history of serving as a volunteer EMT and firefighter as well as a town board member in a small community in northern Wisconsin. Since moving to Wyoming 5 years ago with his wife Reagon, Dave has continued his mission in community service by serving the Sheridan community as an ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training) trainer as well as assisting neighboring counties with ASIST workshops. Dave believes that community involvement and collaboration between groups and entities within a community can have a positive impact on both the quality of life and well-being of its citizens. Dave is excited to use his leadership experience to help Sheridan and Johnson Counties by helping fulfill the Compass mission of “Partnering to build strong communities by strengthening families”. When not at work, Dave enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife Reagon and his dogs as well as camping, hunting, and fishing. |
